Where possible, the artist (Adam Hall),

of Adadaz Leadlights, an owner operated

business, visits the property to which

the leadlight is to be designed, this

enables the atmosphere and style to be

soaked up, taking special note of any

motifs or existing leadlights which may be

incorporated into the custom design.


There are also many examples of

photographs and designs to choose

from to assist in creating new ideas.


Once measurements, designs, ideas and

prices are noted, the next stage is to draw

up a detailed, scaled-down, coloured design.


Adam is always more than happy to discuss

alternative options on the given quotation.

The design assists in giving an accurate impression of how the

leadlight is visualised when complete.


The colour in the design assists in the glass selections for both

the texture and colour of glass to be used in the leadlight.


The choice of glass is as critical as the design; different variations

of texture and colour can create amazing effects and images.


On approval of the design the main work for a new leadlight begins.


Once completed, the new leadlight is then ready for installation.


Once again, a time and date is arranged for the installation to take

place or alternatively the leadlight can be collected from

Adadaz Leadlights.
